Baguio Country Club “Blooms” opens to commemorate Panagbenga Festival

BAGUIO CITY  –  BCC Blooms cutting of ribbon lead by City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, BCC General Manager Anthony De Leon , Councilor Elaine Sembrano, Department of Tourism (DOT-CAR) Regional Director Jovy Ganongan and Baguio Tourism Council Chairperson Gladys Vergara to formally opened the BCC Blooms landscape competition on February 1, (Monday) performed at the former Christmas Village.

 BCC Corporate Communication Manager Andrew Pinero said,  “This is one way of relieving the tradition of Baguio Flower Festival (Panagbenga), upang gunitain rin natin ito kahit na temporary suspended dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic, bale 14 entry participants from different department of the Baguio Country Club will compete for a landscape exhibit and it ends until December, nagbigay ang club ng subsidy sa amin mga empleyado upang maumpisahan ito at yun mga may gustong pagandahin ay nagdagdag na lang sa kanilang bulsa gumamit kami ng 15 percent lang na artificial na bulaklak at 85 percent na mga tunay na halaman, kaya kailangan rin namin mamintina ito, paramihin ang mga bulaklak at lalong mapaganda pa, sa mga nais gusto pumasyal ay maaari makabili ng mga tanim na bulaklak dito, this will be open for the public and free entrance sa lahat.
