Another P5M worth of Marijuana plants and dried stalks burned in Benguet

Camp  Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet- (August 15, 2021) – The unceasing implementation of intensified Marijuana Eradication Operation resulted in the discovery of 7,150 pcs of Fully Grown Marijuana Plants (FGMJP) with Php 1,430,000.00 Standard Drug Price (SDP) and 30kg Marijuana Dried Stalks with 3,600,000.00 SDP in two (2) separate plantation sites in Benguet on August 14, 2021.

Based on the reports submitted to PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, disclosed that the discovery and destruction of FGMJP and MJ Dried Stalks were jointly conducted by operatives of the Benguet Provincial Police Office together with PDEA.

In Sitio, Dacap, Kayapa, Bakun Benguet operatives discovered a total of 6,400 pcs of FGMJP  with SDP of  PHP 1,280,000.00 planted on a public land (communal forrest) with an estimated land area of 800 sqm. Further reports revealed that 30kg of Marijuana Dried Stalks with SDP amounting to Php 3,600,000.00 were found.

Furthermore, in Sitio, Binaod, Madaymen, Kibungan, Benguet a total of 750 pcs of FGMJP with SDP of Php 150,000.00 were destroyed planted on a public land (communal forrest)  with an estimated land area of 150 sqm.

All discovered FGMJP and Marijuana Dried Stalks were documented thereafter,  uprooted and burned on-site while a continuous investigation is being conducted to apprehend possible cultivators. (PROCOR-PIO)
