Trainers and Advocates Confab convened for Future-Ready Research
Manila, Philippines – The 3rd TAAP Annual Research Conference 2026, held online on February 28, 8 AM to 1 PM, was a resounding success. Nearly 400 registered participants, including researchers, educators, leaders, and advocates from various institutions across the country, gathered under the powerful theme: “Transformative Training and Inclusive Advocacy Research Innovation for a Future-Ready Philippines.”
The conference commenced with inspiring remarks from the President of the Board of Directors, Mary Ann Dumlao, setting the stage for a meaningful and intellectually stimulating event. Participants were deeply moved by the heartfelt Inspirational Message of the Founder, Dr. Lurhen Cortes, whose vision continues to empower institutions and researchers nationwide.
Adding a global perspective to the event was our distinguished Keynote Speaker, Dr. Jeetesh Kumar, Associate Professor from Taylor’s University in Malaysia. Dr. Kumar shared valuable insights on innovation, research advancement, and future-ready education.
The conference proudly showcased research presentations from esteemed institutions: Manila Business College, represented by Jay-Ar dela Cruz, Meliza Valencia, Samuel Ronquillo, Antonio Requioma, and Alyssa Joy Grimpula; St. Mary’s College of Meycauayan, represented by John Palawan; World Citi Colleges, represented by Dr. Edward Eduard Monares; Capiz State University, represented by Dr. Jhonnel A. Abalajon and Lovely Jerota. The panel of distinguished judges, chaired by Dr. Robert Samaniego, along with Dr. Sheelah Joy Era and Dr. Isaias Borres R., meticulously evaluated all research presentations.
The Best Research Presenter Award was proudly presented to Capiz State University by Dr. Randy Nobleza and Research Director Laila Malabanan. The event was gracefully hosted by Ms. Eifflene Eiffelene Salvador Howard and Mark Portabes, who maintained an engaging and professional atmosphere throughout the program.
