Eight PCOs Promoted to Next Higher Rank

Eight Police Commissioned Officers of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) were promoted to the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLTCOL) under the 3rd Quarter 2025 Continuous Promotion Program. The Oath-Taking and Donning of Ranks Ceremony was held on September 29, 2025, at the PRO CAR Log Cabin, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The newly promoted officers are:
– PLTCOL JOEWEE LOU A DAUSEN of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO),
– PLTCOL LEE ALVIN B ALINAO of Baguio City Police Office (CPO),
– PLTCOL MELENIUM B BANTAS of Mountain Province PPO,
– PLTCOL BENEDICT T CORTEZ of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division,
– PLTCOL JAMES ALLEN S DOGAO of Baguio CPO,
– PLTCOL MYLES S FORAYANG of Ifugao PPO,
– PLTCOL ALYSON F KALANG-AD of Apayao PPO, and
– PLTCOL FORD G TUAZON of the Regional Legal Office- CAR.
PBGEN ERICSON D. DILAG, Regional Director of PRO CAR, presided over the ceremony and personally administered the oath of office and donning of ranks.

In his message, PBGEN DILAG extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted officers and reminded them of the greater responsibilities that come with their new ranks. He urged them to embody strong leadership, uphold integrity, and serve as role models and mentors, inspiring their peers and subordinates in the fulfillment of their sworn duties.

The Regional Director also congratulated the families of the promotees, recognizing their unwavering support and sacrifices, and reminded the officers of the vital role their families play in their continued success and commitment to public service.
