BAGUIO CITY – The Philippine Architecture and Allied Arts Festival (PAAAF) 2025 is an annual event that promotes awareness and education about architecture and related creative fields. This year’s theme, “Ka-likha-san para sa Bayan,”

Ecotecture and the Allied Arts for the shared future of Filipino Communities and Nature” focuses on fostering a deeper connection between our built environments, communities, and natural world.

On September 26, 2025, (Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. is a main festival event held at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center to witness the showcase of innovative designs, inspiring talks, and a vibrant celebration of Filipino creativity.

“The PAAAF is a platform that celebrates architecture and its allied professions, which include interior design, landscape architecture, and environmental planning. This festival is aimed at honoring the vital contribution to cultural sustainability and nation-building. The PAAAF was first established in 2024 in Tagum City, Davao, to raise awareness of engaged communities and strengthen collaboration across the allied design field.

Now in its second year, PAAAF 2025 highlights the theme “Ka-likha-san para sa Bayan Ecotecture and the Allied Arts for the shared future of Filipino Communities and Nature Festival focusing on how ecological design can shape resilient, centered, and culture-reliant rooted communities.

PAAAF 2025 is delivered to the National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) which is overall policy making body grant building agency and coordinating institution for culture and the arts in the Philippines, this is also in partnership with the National Committee on Architecture and the Allied Arts, NCCA, a sub-commission under the NCCA that focuses on architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and environmental planning.

They develop initiatives that recognize this profession as vital to Philippine culture, history, and sustainable development.

For this year, our granting is “TAO Pilipinas”, the Technical Assistance Organization of the Philippines, which is a women-centered contributor, and they are our grantee and our host for this festival.”

Arch. Borja explained their objectives and the importance of architecture and arts in everyday life, and cultivated camaraderie and synergy among the four allied professions.
