PRO CAR’s Month-Long Drug Ops Yield Over P34M Worth of Illegal Drugs, 33 Drug Personalities Arrested

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) reported a highly successful month-long anti-illegal drug campaign throughout July 2025, confiscating over P34.2 million worth of illegal drugs and arresting 33 drug personalities.

According to reports from PRO CAR’s Regional Operations Division, 51 operations were conducted. These included 26 marijuana eradication efforts, 11 buy-bust operations, eight implementations of search warrants, four services of warrants of arrest, and two police responses.

These efforts led to the confiscation of 320.01 grams of shabu, 144,590 fully grown marijuana plants, 680 pieces of marijuana seedlings, and 26,250 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, with a combined total Standard Drug Price of PhP34,271,234.00. Additionally, the 33 drug personalities arrested included 11 High Value Individuals and 22 Street Level Individuals.

The most significant operations were recorded in Kalinga, where the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) achieved substantial success with the seizure of illegal drugs worth PhP15,478,840.00. Not far behind, Mountain Province PPO demonstrated exceptional efforts in eradicating marijuana plants valued at PhP10,800,000.00. Benguet PPO also played a crucial role, confiscating illegal drugs worth PhP3,728,296.00.
Moreover, the Baguio City Police Office confiscated a total of PhP3,679,400.00 worth of illegal drugs, while the Abra PPO seized suspected shabu worth PhP568,752.00. Furthermore, the Ifugao PPO confiscated suspected shabu valued at PhP14,280.00, and the Apayao PPO seized suspected shabu worth PhP1,666.00.
These concerted efforts across all provinces underscore PRO CAR’s unwavering dedication to dismantling drug operations and ensuring the safety and well-being of every community member. Beyond law enforcement, PRO CAR actively engages in community education programs and collaborates with local organizations to provide essential support services.
