Book Nook Marinduque kasama sa mga kinilalang entri para sa World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI)
Boac, Marinduque – Kasamang kinilala ang Book Nook Marinduque sa Mogpog Extramural Study Center ng Marinduque State University (MarSU) nang, Hulyo 14 (Lunes) kasabay ng flag-raising ceremony.
Kasama sa 18 entri mula sa WURI para sa College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Agriculture, College of Engineering, College of Governance, College of Information at Computing Sciences, College of Environmental Sciences, College of Industrial Technology, Office of the President PMS, MSCAAP at KaSiNag ayon sa MarSU Institutional Quality Assurance.
Nakasaad sa citation ng pagkilala, “this achievement, a first in the university’s history, marks a defining moment in our collective journey towards innovation, institutional excellence, and international recognition. Through your commitment, creativity and collaborative spirit, you have helped advance the University’s mission and brought pride to the entire MarSU community.”
Personal naman naggawad ang mga opisyal ng pamantasan kasama ang pangulo nito, si Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, Dr. Ma. Edelwina M. Blase (Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training), Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay (Vice President for Administration and Finance),
Assoc Prof. Marvin P. Plata ( Vice President for Student Affairs & Services). Dr. Leodegario M. Jalos, Jr. (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Mam. Erma E. Reyes (Chief Administrative Officer/ Supervising Administrative Officer), maging ang campus director Sir Julie Rodelas at direktor ng IQA, si Asst. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit.
Para sa administrator ng Mogpog Extramural Study Center at area coordinator ng Book Nook Marinduque si Jerick C. Jornadal, “One of the entries submitted by the university that significantly contributed to this recognition is the Book Nook Marinduque, a literacy and community engagement initiative located at the MarSU Mogpog Extramural Study Center (MarSU-MESC). Book Nook Marinduque has been actively promoting a culture of reading, learning, and storytelling among children and youth in the province through accessible books, volunteer-led activities, and cultural preservation efforts.”
Ang Book Nook ay flagship na proyekto ng National Book Development Board (NBDB), isa ang BN Marinduque sa mahigit sa 112 na book sa kapuluan. Kabilang ang BN Marinduque sa unang batch ng mga nakatanggap ng aklat noong 2021 sa dulo ng Covid19. Naging tradisyon na ang Mogpog Extramural Study Center administrator ang katuwang na area-coordinator ng NBDB sa pagpapangalaga ng “aklat para sa lahat” buhay kay Dr. Gerald Gutierrez at Sir Gerald Pajanustan. # Randy T.
