KALINGA MARIJUANA PLANTATION SET ON FIRE

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera Regional Intelligence and Operations Team (RIOT), together with the Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) and local police, raided a marijuana plantation in Brgy. Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga on July 14-15, 2025.

This coordinated effort resulted in the uprooting of approximately 60,000 fully grown marijuana plants from an area encompassing around 4,000 square meters.

Subsequently, all marijuana plants were incinerated on-site in accordance with established protocols.

Notably, no individuals engaged in the cultivation activities were caught during the course of this operation. # PDEA-CAR File Photos)
