3 BCPO personnel receive ‘Medalya ng Kasanayan’

Three personnel of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) received Medalya ng Kasanayan award from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PROCor) during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on May 15, 2023.
Medalya ng Kasanayan were awarded to PCOL Francisco B. Bulwayan, Jr., City Director of BCPO, and PLTCOL Reymino G. Paduyao, Chief City Operations Management Unit (COMU), after the BCPO outperformed other Provincial Police Offices (PPOs) of the PROCor in the campaign against illegal drugs during the Nationwide Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted from April 18 to 23, 2023.
PCPT Angeline Dongpaen, Information Officer of the BCPO said the ‘Baguio’s Finest’ have recorded the highest number of operations conducted including the highest arrest of high-value individuals, and the highest volume of shabu seized during the 6-day Nationwide SACLEO, based on the consolidated reports on anti-illegal drug accomplishments among six PPOs.
“During the 6-day police operation, 2 High-Value Individuals (HVI) and a Street Level Individual (SLI) were arrested and confiscated 37.84 grams of shabu and 0.64 grams of Marijuana, all with an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP257,524.80,” Dongpaen said.
She furthered that the award is the result of the relentless efforts and aggressive law enforcement operations on the campaign against illegal drugs of Baguio’s Finest who dedicate their lives to promote the highest standard of police service for the benefit of the community they had sworn to serve and protect.
The third awardee for Medalya ng Kasanayan is PMAJ Leonard A. Danasen, Acting Chief of the City Administrative and Resource Management Unit (CARMU) of BCPO for successfully passing the 2022 BAR Examinations conducted on November 9, 13, 16, and 20, 2022 held in 14 Different Local Testing Centers in Luzon. – JMPS
