52 students successfully finish Youth Summit in Bauko
Fifty-two Grade 11 students of Mabaay National High School have completed the three-day Moving the Youth Towards Peace and Development (MYPD) summit held at Mabaay National High School, Bauko, Mountain Province on June 25, 2022.
The summit was organized by the personnel of Mt. Province Police Provincial Office in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Bauko, faculty and staff of Mabaay NHS, and KKDAT members of Bontoc, Sabangan & Tadian.
Discussed during the said summit was the role of youth in the community & church, and leadership development while lectures on crime prevention tips, first aid, road safety measures and mental health awareness were conducted by guest lecturers.
Further, team building, moral upliftment activities, and workshops were conducted to reinforce the learnings during the lectures.
The summit was held to hone the participants’ potential in becoming more responsible citizens and leaders in advocating peace and development. (PROCOR-PIO)
