The Benitez Hall in Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City, was filled with proud parents and family members during the graduation rites of the 198 police trainees from PSBRC Batch 2022-01 “MABIDANG” on June 7, 2023.

The graduates have completed their Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at the Cordillera Administrative Region Training Center (CARTC) and are now ready for the Field Training Program.

The momentous event was graced by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Also present were PCOL LEON TALLEO, the Chief of the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU); CARTC Staff and Tactics headed by PLTCOL AVELINO M GARRIDO, JR., Acting Chief of CARTC; and the families of the police trainees.

As the highlight of the ceremony, three (3) police trainees were given Certificates of Merit for their outstanding performance during the course:

Pat Allan B Luzano (93.40%)

Pat Khier M Pudoc (92.85%)

Pat Marissa Guinsad (92.09%)

Also, NPTI Director Leadership Awards were given to Pat Clifford K Valdez, who served as the Class President, while Pat Kyle Ador B Cawaing received the same award for serving as Battalion Commander.

In his message, PBGEN PEREDO JR. extended his congratulations to the graduates for their hard work and sacrifices and encouraged them to apply what they have learned during the duration of the course in line with the 5-focused agenda of the C, PNP, and his DKP program as they undergo another 6-month Field Training Program (FTP).
